Taking a road trip gives you the ultimate feeling of freedom. From the beginning to the end of your journey. It sometimes takes some preparation, but it is more than worth it. You can also choose to see what you are going to do per day.
Croatia is beautiful. And also remains a popular summer destination. The weather is great in summer, it is located by the sea and it is cheaper than the Netherlands. Besides lazing on the beach, Croatia has a lot of culture and history.
As a nature lover, it is absolutely enjoyable here. You have the well-known national parks Plitvice lakes and Krka lakes, but less well known beautiful nature reserves. And if hiking isn't enough you can look it up more adventurous and go rafting and cayoning in the Centina River.
