Europe is beautiful! It has a lot of culture and nature to offer. You don't have to be outside of Europe to enjoy a great trip. And in today's society it does not look like we cannot make long journeys.
With all the beauty that Europe has, it is the perfect time to discover our own continent. Go on an adventure close to home. An ideal way to travel through Europe is with a car or camper. Take a road trip! Also really Corona proof. In this blog I share 3 road trips that me and a friend (Bjorn) have made over the years.
The ultimate feeling of freedom
Taking a road trip gives you the ultimate feeling of freedom. From the beginning to the end of your journey. It sometimes takes some preparation, but it is more than worth it. You can also choose to see what you are going to do per day.
Road trip to summer Croatia
Croatia is beautiful. And also remains a popular summer destination. The weather is great in summer, it is located by the sea and it is cheaper than the Netherlands. Besides lazing on the beach, Croatia has a lot of culture and history.
As a nature lover, it is absolutely enjoyable here. You have the well-known national parks Plitvice lakes and Krka lakes, but less well known beautiful nature reserves. And if hiking isn't enough you can look it up more adventurous and go rafting and cayoning in the Centina River.
For the partygoers among us: In Poreç and Zadar, the evenings are great and you can sip those pivos and cocktails until the early hours.

The Dolomites is a wonderful holiday destination to spend in the middle of the mountains. This part of Italy offers a wonderful mix of the Alps mountains and the real Italian.
The Dolomites are located in the two northernmost provinces of Italy: South Tyrol and Trentino. You wouldn't say you are in Italy as there are many alpine traditions in this region. This Austrian influence makes it a cultural diversity in the mountains of the Dolomites.
